AI content policy
TechSeeker is produced by an automated pipeline: AI selects, summarizes and analyzes, and every step follows rules that can be checked. This page explains how we use AI, how we control quality, and how we handle errors.
How posts are made
- We only use primary sources such as official blogs, announcements and project releases, and we follow each site's robots.txt and terms.
- AI writes a short summary (up to 300 words per language) and our take, based on the original. The Chinese and English versions are each written from the original, not translated from each other.
- We never republish or translate full articles. Every post links to its sources, and the originals are authoritative.
Facts and analysis are kept apart
The summary only states facts from the sources; when a post combines several sources, each point shows which source it came from. "Our take" is our analysis and is labeled separately. Nothing here is investment advice.
Quality checks
- Every post must pass structural and fidelity checks before it is published: each fact in the summary must be found in the source, or the post is not published.
- Our take must be specific and grounded; generic filler fails the check.
- We re-check sources one day and seven days after publishing, and follow the corrections policy below when a source changes or is withdrawn.
- We review a sample of posts by hand every week and track the error rate.
Corrections policy
Errors should be visible to readers without getting in the way of people who never saw the first version. We use four levels:
- Minor edit: typos, wording or layout that do not change facts or conclusions. Only the updated date changes.
- Correction: a fact, number, specification or source was wrong, or the conclusion changes. A "Corrected" label appears next to the date, and the end of the post states the date and what is now correct.
- Follow-up: the post was right when published, but the story moved on. The post stays as it was and links to the follow-up.
- Removal: the post was substantially wrong, or had to be removed for copyright or legal reasons. Its address keeps only a short notice.
Report an error
Every post has a "Report an error" link. We check reports against the sources and correct confirmed errors under the policy above. We do not keep reporters' personal data and do not reply to reports.
